WordWeavers is written as an exciting interactive story which you and your child can read together; in this way it is radically different from most KS2 and KS3 English courses. Each child begins the WordWeaving journey as a WordWeaving apprentice and will work their way up through the levels of WordWeaving Wings and WordWeaving Wizard until they achieve the status of Master Word Weaver. At this stage they will have the tools and skills to begin a GCSE or IGCSE syllabus.

The course is colourful and engaging and is based on the idea that words have powers! Equivalent powers (or spells) are needed to master them and in this way children have real fun learning about nouns, adjectives and verbs (they’re the dangerous ones!), sentences and paragraphs, story-telling and how to read and write with understanding. There are spells to master all those difficult spellings (each child has their own Spell Book), and lots of really interesting stuff, too, about our elegant monster, the English Language.

As usual I have tried to keep the cost as low as possible so you can buy each level separately, £95 for the first stage and £75 for each subsequent stage. If you choose to buy the course in its entirety, it will still be sent out in separate sections, reflecting your child’s achievement, but the cost is only £300.
